“Upon arriving to the beautiful chalets, we were blessed with the misty sun kissed forests of the stunning Denmark surroundings. The quality and tranquility of the chalets were unmatched, nestled in the rolling meadows and trees. “Our chalet was ready and waiting for us and the heating was turned on to give a very homely and welcoming feeling. The chalet was very clean and fresh and well maintained. The views from every window were amazing and the peace and quiet was so relaxing. Plenty of birdlife to sit and watch from the deck. The location was great too - close enough to town but also close to other attractions.”

“We had the pleasure of staying in the Burl chalet for 3 nights and could not fault a thing. Cleanliness, amenities, beautiful comfortable furniture, hand written notes, quirky little touches. Good quality and comfortable bedding and towels. We are planning a trip back in winter so we can use the wood fire. It was lovely spending time on the balcony watching the birds and kangaroos and wildlife whilst barbecuing. ”

Chasing a break? Head down to Ocean Beach at the mouth of the Wilson Inlet. Surf, body surf or watch the locals carving it up. Ocean Beach feels like it goes on forever. Looking for something a little more sedate? Stop at Prawn Rock Channel just a little closer to town on Ocean Beach Road.

Climb up to Monkey Rock

A stunning rock formation overlooking Lights Beach. The moderately steep, 30-minute hike rewards you with breathtaking views. The trail, part of the Bibbulmun Track, winds through trees to the summit. Once at the top, stairs assist with the more challenging sections.

Eat seasonal at a sustainable farm

The Dam is nestled on Raintree, a family-operated sustainable farm. The local favourite serves seasonal food paired with hemp spirits produced and distilled on-site and Raintree wines created by an artisan winemaker.
